no @" in macros?

Hi there!
I seem unable to use @" (german umlauts) in macros:

Kapitel 4 [4] (nf-philo.tmp [5]
! Extra }, or forgotten @endgroup.
<recently read> }
                 
l.3 address@hidden@fam @ttfam @tentt @char 34}
                                      uhrung in die praktische Philosophie: ...

The definition is:

@macro philoveranstaltungen {}
@table @strong
@item Di 10-12, Phil 1009
Einf@"uhrung in die praktische Philosophie: Ethik
@c (zeitgleich zu F1)
@item Fr 10-12, Phil 1009
Einf@"uhrung in die theoretische Philosophie: Erkenntnistheorie
@end table
@end macro

and it's used normally as

@philoveranstaltungen{}

in it's own paragraph... 

This is texinfo 4.0, if this bug is already fixed in CVS, sorry,
but i can't check that right now :)
