It makes a difference whether you say e.g.
@cindex foo
@deffn bar
or
@deffn bar
@cindex foo
Only the latter is the correct one currently. At least with PDF
output, it can happen with the former construction that the index
entry is one page off.
Can this be fixed? What about insertion of \kern 1sp or something
similar to prevent a (page) break right after an index command?
Otherwise, I strongly suggest to document this.
