texinfo-4.5: configure bug

Greetings,

In the 4.5 tgz in configure at line 6440 and following, the test program
includes an unterminated comment. This appears to arise from
configure.ac at line 122, where the comma is interpreted as
an argument delimeter by the AC_TRY_LINK macro beginning on
line 107.

I'm afraid I have to port autoconf 2.54 before I can even test
a fix (I'm at 2.53). (I'm in port hell now... I need the GNU
tools, but now I need to pore through the autoconf doc, but
I really need an info reader to do that, and I can't get
the info reader compiled without fixing configure...)
