I think supporting that would mean more ugliness in the reader loop
routine, which is ugly already.
Yes, that was my concern.
Currently, bare braces are allowed only in the @def* directives,
Ah yes, I see that bare braces are not allowed in @macro.
So, we should not do this for @acronym either. Let @comma{} solve the
comma problem.
