For a few weeks now, docbook output does not work for me, I get plenty
of errors on the XML file:

address@hidden:~/src/libidn/doc$ make libidn-db.ps
/bin/sh /home/jas/src/libidn/missing --run makeinfo --docbook --output
libidn-db.xml libidn.texi
/bin/sh /home/jas/src/libidn/missing --run docbook2ps libidn-db.xml
Using catalogs: /etc/sgml/catalog
Using stylesheet: /usr/share/sgml/docbook/utils-0.6.13/docbook-utils.dsl#print
Working on: /home/jas/src/libidn/doc/libidn-db.xml
jade:/usr/share/sgml/docbook/dtd/xml/4.2/docbookx.dtd:112:17:E: "X20AC" is not
a function name
jade:/usr/share/sgml/entities/xml-iso-entities-8879.1986/ISOamsa.ent:40:19:E:
"X21B6" is not a function name
jade:/usr/share/sgml/entities/xml-iso-entities-8879.1986/ISOamsa.ent:41:19:E:
"X21B7" is not a function name
jade:/usr/share/sgml/entities/xml-iso-entities-8879.1986/ISOamsa.ent:42:17:E:
"X21D3"
...

Running docbook2ps on an old XML file from earlier versions of texinfo
works. The most interesting change was to go from:

<!DOCTYPE Book PUBLIC "-//OASIS//DTD DocBook V3.1//EN">

to:

<!DOCTYPE book PUBLIC "-//OASIS//DTD DocBook XML V4.2//EN"

in the file. I suspect this might have triggered a buggy DocBook 4.2
environment in Debian, or perhaps there actually is some problem with
the docbook output now.

Any ideas?

I'm using the berlios CVS.

Thanks.
