    How about $(datadir)?  We already place texinfo.xsl and texinfo.dtd
    there.

We need to make a subdirectory $(datadir)/texinfo if we're going to
start installing lots of (or any) css files, not fill up the generic
system $(datadir) with texinfo-specific stuff.

Simon -- yes, everyone has their own opinion about what the HTML should
look like.  (Personally, I hate colors, boxes, etc.)  So I think
allowing users to choose among various styles or create their own is the
way to go.  And I'm not too inclined to prettify the default, at least
not yet.
