I experience the same in xterm. Also man, and mutt repaint the terminal
there.
On Linux console, OTOH, all these programs, including info, leave the text
on terminal.
I'm afraid that fixing this would require studying ncurses or terminfo
definitions for the respective terminals. Good luck. And tell us the
trick, if you find out.
