Hello,

I apologize that I step in again.

But should the ``old behaviour'' stay exactly as it is?
Or should it do the work in a tmp subdir and copy the xref files forth
and back?
I think Akim should pick what's easier for him to implement.

OK, dvi, ps and pdf would be removed at `clean'.
But should't `mostlyclean' remove the xref files? (I mean all but dvi, ps
and pdf.) So the *.t2d and *.t2p subdirs would be removed by `mostlyclean'.

Have a nice day,
        Stepan
