Weird vertical spacing with @smallexample in @table @code entries.

The attached small example file has a @smallexample environment enclosed
in a @table @code environment. The result of this, in the texi2pdf
output, is that the lines in the paragraph before the example have a
"squished" vertical spacing -- it looks like the spacing is about 90% of
the appropriate value. The similar entry without the @smallexample
environment has no problems.
Any ideas on a fix?

Specify that only a particular subset of compilers and
their runtime libraries should be built. For a list of valid values for
you can issue the following command in the directory of your GCC source tree:
