Subject: makeinfo 4.11 breaks direntry

Hi,

I started using makeinfo 4.11 recently and noticed it inserts
the following line in the direntry section of some generated
Info files:

- --8<---------------cut here---------------start------------->8---
This is foo, produced by makeinfo version 4.11 from foo.texi.
- --8<---------------cut here---------------end--------------->8---

For instance, the beginning of the generated elisp info file
looks as follows:

- --8<---------------cut here---------------start------------->8---
INFO-DIR-SECTION Emacs
START-INFO-DIR-ENTRY
This is ../../info/elisp, produced by makeinfo version 4.11 from elisp.texi.

* Elisp: (elisp). The Emacs Lisp Reference Manual.
END-INFO-DIR-ENTRY

   This is edition 2.9 of the GNU Emacs Lisp Reference Manual,
corresponding to Emacs version 23.0.50.
- --8<---------------cut here---------------end--------------->8---

Because of this, the dir file is filled with many of such lines
when the install-info command is performed. Is this a bug or is
there something we overlooked?

Regards,
