texinfo-4.11 test failure

Hi all!

Sorry to come over it, but I get the same problem on my Mandriva-2008, 
and I must confess I am not a hacker.

./ configure --prefix=/usr/     => OK
make all                        => OK
make check                      => too bad

Even worse, when I apply Bruno's patch, it fails on 2 tests:
