In fact, I just have found out that if you set SHORT_REF=0 you'll get
the float name as you want to.  If you use nodes as elements, which is
the default case, it should not change anything else.  This is not
really on purpose, so I think I'll change that.

(As a side note it is not what is in the documentation either...).
