I tried this also with info 4.13 and had the same thing. It is to do
with the way it goes forward in the node structure of the file; if
there is no Next pointer it will go "Up" until there is a next
pointer, and then go Next, and all these intermediate nodes are
recorded in the window history. These nodes can be cleared from the
history easily, the same as what happens when the tab key skips over a
node to go to the next link, and in the text search if I remember
correctly.
