Thanks.  Unless the Emacs Info reader already supports this, I suggest
to file a bug report asking for a similar implementation and a
similarly-named option.  Please use "M-x report-emacs-bug RET" for that.

(I would have done this myself, but I cannot describe the feature you
implemented in enough detail to give the relevant Emacs developers the
information they will need to do the job.)
