I've confirmed the failure.

I've committed a fix to the version-control repository and uploaded the
new texinfo.tex file to ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/texinfo.

I believe the failure was for @synindex when there were no blank lines 
above it, and only certain commands that took an argument on the whole 
line appeared.

Please report if there are any more problems. Thanks for the report.
