Suppress automatic footnote numbering. By default, footnotes are
numbered sequentially within a node, i.e., the current footnote
number is reset to 1 at the start of each node.
Yes, even I know that
'--no-number-footnotes'
'--number-footnotes'
don't do the same thing. But reading it literally, the two appear to be
aliases for each other. So please say the second does the opposite, etc.
There are other cases too on the page. Or at the top of the list say --no-*
does the
opposite below.
P.S., "reset to 1": actually reset to "*", at least with --plaintext.
