This was due to a change made a couple of months ago:

There may be various places throughout the code where this causes
problems.  There have been several fixes for this so there is not
just one patch I can send you to fix the problem.  If you are able
to get the following commits from git then these may be enough.

We want to make a new bug-fix release soon with just required fixes in it.
