AFAIK, domain names are case insensitive, so the change does not really 
matter, but CRAN.R-project.org is definitely the preferred notation.

- At the bottom of each CRAN package page (picking one example here): 
"Please use the canonical form 
<https://CRAN.R-project.org/package=colorspace> to link to this page."
