Sure, but since the `automatic' step I was talking was transforming
doc-strings/comments -> info nodes, embedding such commands would avoid
the problem of automatic index generation.

In addition, they would be useful without info as well, makeing it
possible to have a `doc-string index', which might be more useful than
a simple apropos in many cases.
