      Since the next version of Emacs will probably include calc,
    I propose it again here, hereby assigning the copyright to the FSF.

In general, it takes more than an unilateral statement in an email
message to assign a copyright.  You are a special case; you have
already signed an assignment for your future changes to FSF programs,
so you can achieve the goal by telling address@hidden that this
program counts as a "change to Emacs."

But if we didn't have a relevant signed assignment from you already,
we would need to get your signature on some sort of copyright
assignment now.
