  ZOW is a Git-oriented service framework for Emacs.  It
  provides command ‘git-hook-kick’ and others.  Collectively,
  you can use these to manage a Git-oriented service in Emacs
  Lisp.  Its spiritual brethren are Gogs and ilk.

NEWS for 0.4 (2021-12-19):

  - installation bugfix: create ‘$(isite)’ (if necessary)

    Previously, it was assumed this directory existed.

    Its value is ‘$(DESTDIR)$(sitelisp)’, which normally expands to
    ‘/usr/local/share/emacs/site-lisp’, but you never know...

  - some (slight) documentation

    Barely enough to be called documentation, but hey, it's a start...

  - bootstrap/maintenance tools
