Okay, fellow GNU-ers, lets make a checklist of "common c&c software" that
GNU/Linux should have, and see where it still falls short.  Let's be
honest, too.

Oh, wait, I typed a memo yesterday, its name contained the syllables "dow"
and "jon" (maybe I'm a Wall Street reporter, or whatever).  It's verrry
important, if I don't find it in the next 10 minutes I'm fired.

How do you do that with Windows (without GNU tools)?  Remember that there
must be billions of files containing winDOWs.  Under GNU/Linux, it's a
matter of seconds.  locate -r "dow.*jon"

Windows Anything is crude to people who are used to better.  The others?  I
suppose ignorance is bliss.  If the only tool you have is a hammer, every
problem looks like a nail.  GNU/Linux gives you a toolchest.
