That doesn't seem to be the opinion of a large number of cases, where
they infringing parties have greed to settle out of court, usually by
complying with the GPL.

I call your bluff. Don't try to hind behind a curtain of quotes of
quotes with quotes of quotes. Show us some real tdata backing up your
claims or STFU.
