If you fire a bullet at a person, your responsibility does not end
when the bullet leaves the barrel and decides to follow the course of
inertia.  If build a bomb, then pay someone to push the trigger, that
does not deliver you of your responsibility.

Judges are humans for a reason: to interpret the law according to its
meaning and intent and not be thwarted by insipid weaseling.
