New FSFE fund-raising campaign

campaign, with endorsements from Redhat and Novell. FSFE is asking
companies to financially support its work promoting the ideas of free
software at a high level in Europe and around the world.

Realmedia Helix Player now licensed under the GPL

Real has adopted the GPL as a new license option for Helix Player, the
multimedia framework for RealPlayer. The license covers the software
framework itself, not the codecs used in Realplayer.

PUBPAT seeking technical experts

technical experts have joined its staff and that pro bono opportunities
