A completely unjustified reading of what I said.

What's screwing my competitors is the bad patent.  There's no 
obligation on me to tell them that it's bad.  Failing to do so doesn't 
amount to me screwing them.

Neither did I suggest getting a licence in exchange for not disclosing 
the prior art.  The reason for sending the prior art to the patentee 
(as you yourself suggested) is to ensure that he will be dissuaded 
from suing me.
