At the end software is not more and no less than a expressions of logical
an mathematical thinks in a way that computer can understand it. You can
express this i words, in a book or paper, in english, german, spain or any
other human language or you express it in C, C++, lisp,... or any other
programming language. But in any case you 'only' express some ideas or a
step by step explanation to do a job. And exactly for these things
copyright was created. But you never do something what you could call an
invention and so there is nothing you could patent because patent law is
for inventions.
