 Cocktails and copyright? Mashups and martinis?

 Hi all - this is my first time posting to this list. I've cared about
 IP issues and been an EFF member for a long time, and recently
 cofounded IPac, a PAC for a more balanced intellectual property
 policy.

 Right now I wanted to let you know about CopyNight.org, a brand new
 monthly series of parties across the country for people who think IP
 law is going little overboard lately (or a lot overboard). Our first
 gathering is next Tuesday, March 29 - the evening of the Supreme Court
 arguments in MGM v. Grokster. In addition to New York, we have
 meetings scheduled in Washington DC, San Francisco, and Santa Monica.
 I hope you can join us!

 In New York:
     * Bar Nine
     * 807 9th Ave (between 53rd and 54th Sts) in the back room
     * 7:00 pm onward

 For more information, to sign up for email updates, and to see info
 about the other locations, check out http://copynight.org/

 See you there!

 David
