It's called "Lesser" (GNU GPL silliness), not "Less". (Formerly known 
as "Library".) 

I suggest you read http://www.rosenlaw.com/Rosen_Ch06.pdf and pay 
attention to the analysis of both GPL and LGPL re linking. ("Copyright 
Law and Linking", "The LGPL Alternative", etc.)
