You have to admit it. Microsoft's lawyers are real morons.
Just think about it. They are probably making $250,000 a year. The
top tax bracket is 37.6 percent. Now you have to assume since they
are really stupid that they don't know about tax shelters and the
like. So that leaves them paying about $94,000 to the government in
Federal taxes. That leaves them only $256,000 to live on.
Now the journalist who asked about the moronic lawyers is probably
making $40,000 a year so that's a tax bracket of only 28 percent. So
she is only paying $11,200 in taxes so she has $28,800 to live on.
Now $94,000 - $11,200 shows that she pays $82,200 less in taxes than
Microsoft's moronic lawyers. Now that's *real* savings.
Smart. Very smart.
