Subject: Tech in Government Committee Hearing Monday, January 28th

 Good evening,

On Monday, January 28th, at 10:00am the Technology in Government
Committee will be holding an oversight hearing on the "Implementation of
Electronic Health Records in Community Health Centers" in the 14th Floor
 Hearing Room of 250 Broadway.

This hearing will specifically focus on the Electronic Health
Implementation Program overseen by the Primary Care Health Information
Consortium (PCHIC), which is, itself, overseen by the NYC Department of
Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH). These programs are encouraging
digital record keeping and fostering more efficient sharing of
 information between care giving sites.

We are expecting a diverse group of witnesses from City Agencies,
numerous Health Centers, and Medical Non-Profits. Please feel free to
pass along this information to anyone interested in testifying. This
hearing like all other New York City Council hearings are open to the
 public.

Thanks and have a great weekend,

 Kunal Malhotra
