Without knowing the details of what Verizon is doing, it's not
possible to say from the outside whether Verizon is violating the
GPL. The ones best placed to do that are the copyright holders,
and they appear to have decided that having Actiontec distribute
the GPLed sources was sufficient.

Do you mean those BusyBox "copyright holders" who *cannot* go to
federal court in the Second Circuit seeking redress because THEY
HAVE NO REGISTERED COPYRIGHTS and therefore no standing to sue?

You would like to believe that Verizon is deliberately violating
the GPL and the SFLC is too timid to pursue them, but there is no
evidence for your claim.

The SFLC is not too timid. . . they're too freakin' DUMB to pursue
them. Verizon told the SFLC to kiss their Tyrian purple ass and
the SFLC filed a voluntary dismissal WITH PREJUDICE so that Verizon
wouldn't kick their dumb ass all over the courtroom.

Sincerely,
Rjack :)
