It figures.
I just bought a TomTom.

Nice device BTW.

You can mount it as a regular filesystem, IOW plug it in and it appears as
a USB mass storage.
Very nice community as well.

What can you do with it as a connected device other than perhaps replace the internal mapping data with a newer version?
