The goal of GPL enforcement actions is to make sure that companies which ship GPLed programs belonging to the clients of the SFLC either comply with the GPL or desist from shipping the code. When the outcome of an enforcement action matches its goal, we call that "victory". Regarding your unclever tagline, what do you believe was the original goal of such enforcement actions before the non-existent change that you imagine happened?
