Neither of us are arguing from reason.  /I'm/ arguing from what I've seen of
people who have interacted with CDs.  Nothing more.

And even the dumbest Joe will understand when you explain it.  He's the guy
who knows that a truck can't accelerate as fast as a roadster.

I'm done with this silly topic and this cross-posting, by the way.
No one who bothers with a Live CD will go into it without knowing that
there's extra startup time the first time you run an app.
