"Study: GPL loses ground in open source development
By Matthew Broersma, ZDNet UK

The GNU General Public Licence is falling in popularity, according to
figures released by Black Duck that looked at all versions of the GPL
as a whole.

At the same time, Microsoft's open source software license, MS-PL, is
gaining ground in the open source realm, the company said in a report
Tuesday. . .

Black Duck attributed the decline in the GPL's dominance to
"pragmatism" on the part of software developers and users, who are
increasingly moving to licenses that place fewer restrictions on how
the code may be used."

We see:
"... increasingly moving to licenses that place fewer restrictions on
how the code may be used" (supra).

So much for fraudulently attempting to redefine the meaning of "free"
in the English language. No one except for wingnut GNUtians really
believes the GPL is "free" as in "freedom".

Sincerely,
Rjack
