Hi Dodji!
 
This year the GNU Project makes forty years, and we are preparing a very
special GNU Hackers Meeting in Biel/Bienne, Switzerland, to celebrate
the occasion, next 27th September [1].  We are trying to gather as many
GNU people together (hackers, maintainers, webmasters, translators, etc)
as possible.

I really hope you can attend the event.

We are gonna have several discussions related to the GNU Project as a
whole, including infrastructure and other topics of importance for GNU
programs, like the relationship with the toolchain "leadership".  I
think it is important that you participate in these discussions, and I
am for sure interested in your take on all that.

I plan to lead these discussions myself (the best I can) and since RMS
will be part of it, it will be possible to make actual decisions; the
goal is to make an useful and effective use of the time.

Will you come?

The GNU40 event is only two days after Cauldron.  If you are attending
the event in Cambridge, you can then take a train or flight to
Switzerland.  Thats what I am gonna do.
