About a year ago, I tried somewhat seriously to get the rememberance
agent working on Windows. I was able to get the tools to compile and
generate database files. I believe they compiled out of the box with
Cygwin (not mingw, but using the cygwin Del) at the time.
The problem I ran into was the same one I've run into with many other
cygwin based and plain windows programs; they don't communicate
successfully with NT Emacs using pipes. So.... the emacs would never
show results even though all the tools were *working*. At this point
I ran out of time, and how my primary environment is Linux-based so I
haven't gone back and revisited the issues.
I hope this message points you in the right direction if you
investigate further.
