Subject: [Help-gsl] Error in tridiagonalization of a real symmetric square matrix
Date: Tue, 14 Sep 2004 23:10:59 -0700 (PDT)

Hi all,

I am testing GSL tridiagonalization function with:

gsl_linalg_symmtd_decomp(Xcov, wt);

where Xcov is real symmetric square matrix & wt is a vector with size
Xcov->size1.

But the runtime gives error

ERROR: size of tau must be matrix size -1.

Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks,
Kaustubh
