On other distros, you use systemctl because it's a service. It's no differert 
on the guix system, you need to add virtmanager as a service to your os 
declaration. Have you seen this on the manual: 
http://guix.gnu.org/manual/en/html_node/Virtualization-Services.html#Virtualization-Services
 ?
