Hi Friends.

I am doing a "study travel" around the structure of gnumach-1.3
microkernel and at the first level of the tree i find the subdirectory
chips, that have 73 files between C code and headers.

They looks like drivers for diferent devices, but, are they applied at
compile time?, What are this files exactly?, is old code or is valid
code actually?.

Any explanation about the mean of this chips subdirectory into the
gnumach structure will be very apreciated.

Thanks you very much, in advance.

Regards.

Jose.
