I have a HP Compact nx6125 (Turion64 cpu) laptop on which i have window$ and
debian sarge dual boot with grub. I would really love to have hurd run as well!

I followed the installation manual
(http://www.debian.org/ports/hurd/hurd-install) using a tarball
(debian-gnu-hurd-current.tar.gz). Everything works ok up to the point i enter
'boot' at grub (end of part 5 of the manual). After that, i see a lot of things,
the kernel panics and the system reboots.

The manual suggests that there might be problems with shared IRQs. However, the
bios doesn't let me reassign IRQs.

the '/proc/interrupts' file:

What can i do????
