Hi,
I'm having trouble checking code out of a CVS server using the
WinCVS.
Running from a terminal connected to the server, everything seems
okay: I can import, checkout, update, commit. Using the WinCVS, I
can
also login, import, but I can't checkout anything!
The CVS pserver run on a Slackware 7; the pserver being started with
the following command:
/sbin/tcpserver -v -u0 -g0 0 2401 /usr/local/bin/cvs \
--allow-root=/works/CVS pserver 2>&1 | /sbin/splogger cvs 3 &
The error message is as follows:
cvs -z9 checkout -P multifretes (in directory E:\HOME\feng\projetos)
cvs server: cannot open /root/.cvsignore: Permission denied
cvs checkout: in directory multifretes:
cvs checkout: cannot open CVS/Entries for reading: No such file or
directory
cvs [server aborted]: can't chdir(/root): Permission denied
*****CVS exited normally with code 1*****
Could anyone help me to put this thing working?
