Problems with adding binary file of size 200 meg

Hi,

    I wanted to add a 200 meg binary file to the
repository.

I did

cvs add -kb file.z

and then 

cvs ci file.z

CVS comes out with the following error message

hash.c:312: failed assertion `key != NULL'
Terminated with fatal signal 6
cvs commit: saving log message in /tmp/cvsBAA0obPJJ

I am using cvs 1.10.7 client and cvs 1.10.7 server and
using the pserver mode to connect to the server
