Just so I understand the problem, is it ok to mount a sandbox
over NFS or samba, work on it, ssh to the sandbox ( let's
say it's a home directory ) and do cvs commit there?

Is it ok to commit these files from the machine that has the
sandbox mounted? I have seen the problem below asked and
answered on the list, and I assumed before that the
problem was NFS mounting the actual repository and setting
your CVSROOT=/mnt/cvs

If this is correct, then is the behavior I described
acceptable? It's rather useful.

Thank you.
