Hi,
The $CVSROOT is owned by root and group is set to dev.
I have a requirement in which I have 26 people who will need
to access the CVS server. The 26 people will have different roles.
There will be a total of 10 groups as describe:
dev - developers
cvsadmin - CVS admin
test - testers
frontend - frontend developers
backend - backend deveopers
spm - ??
provision - Provision Developers
workflow - workflow developers
adapters - adapters developers
anoncvs - anonymous cvs users
10 of the 26 people will have the need to have multiples group access.
My main questions could I use the $CVSROOT/passwd file at the end to
define the groups like you mentioned in the book. If so will using a ,
separate these
groups for the same users like /etc/group file does.
Also I'm planning on setting noshell to some of these users so they don't
directly access the system.
Any help in this issue would be grateful.
Phillip
