I've set up CVS for remote repository, and I can login using a system user
account (i.e. my own) but I want to use separate passwords and have CVS run
as a common user so I can tighten permissions (more to prevent accidental
deletation).
I created a $CVSROOT/CVSROOT/passwd file with just
dummy::cvs
in it (cvs is a system account), but I can login as dummy with no password -
i just get the failed message. I can still login using my own (system)
account (ultimately I will turn off the system auth. ability).
Do I have to do anything special to the passwd file to get it to be used?
