How I delete directory(repository)???

Hello,

I m a remote user for one CVS system.And I own write grant.

This is my step:

$cvs import "This is a test" test start

$cvs checkout This\ is\ a\ test

$cvs remove This\ is\ a\ test

But it's not working. the CVSROOTdisplay that the directory not been deleted.

How can I remove this directory(repository)?


Another problems.

$cvs add backup //backup is a new sub-directory in the work directory.

$cvs remove backup //I wanna delete this derectory from CVSROOT

How did I do that? CVS prevent me to do this!
