I just submitted an almost complete patch to enable SSL with CVS via the
stunnel application to address@hidden if anybody wants to play with
it. I think it is stuck on a stupid stunnel bug/misconfiguration since
almost everything works, but I most likely won't have time to deal with
it for a few months.
It needs documentation and maybe a test in the suite (though I think
thast would be hard), but I was waiting on getting it working completely
before I wrote those. The interface is very simple (similar to :ext:)
and should be easy to figure out with a glance at the patch.
Hmmm.... come to think of it I never tried sticking tcpclient in in
place of stunnel to test the stunnel bug theory... that may be a good
place to start for anyone who has time.
