Hi all,
I have the following situation.
Right now we have two repositories for two different projects on two
different servers.
The CVS servers for the two projects are present on sun boxes. The
developers are directly telnetting into the server and checking out the
modules or files in to their home directories. They are not using any client
software till now.
The source code for the first project is around 700MB and they are using the
concept of branching etc..
Another project is just having some modules.
Now we are planning to move all the repositories (Just the repositories) for
all the projects into a central place like AIX SPNODE.
Planning to add one more repository for IT on the same server.
Any ideas like how I can approach into this is appreciated. Is it possible
to make something like one big repository and put all these projects under
that repository.
Here our basic aim is to keep all the repositories in one place and on one
filesystem in Unix box.
I was previously involved in installing CVS software, creating the
repositories on individual servers etc.I don't have much idea abt branches
and working on multiple repositories.
Thanks inadvance,
-Raghav
